well it only just started but i have noticed a little shudder when taking off. its a manual with 80000 kms and is still under warranty any ideas before i get it checked out..... please help

Sounds like you might have clutch shudder. If its bad enough then it should be replaced under warranty.

clutch shudder or broken engine mount :)

Your car has been lowered, right? That can happen.

Well, that's what I thought. I know mine shudders a little but only when cold. I just know that alot of members suffer this issue and the common factor is that they're all lowered.

i must b a freak too .. cos im lowered ..but my wheels are only 16" tho.. engine mount id say .. but yeah poss clutch. :( if its engine mount put it under load while on the spot and u should hear clunking when u let load off/put load on

I'm talking 3rd gens, I'm not sure if 2ng gens do the same.

well i had/have the issue on my TF which is lowered 40mm/60mm, my TJ is 60mm/60mm and has no issues of shuddering
a wheel alignment makes it alot better, but i never fully got rid of it, just got used to it

I'm talking 3rd gens, I'm not sure if 2ng gens do the same.
No issue with shuddering on TF lowered with 17's... Also no shudder on a TJ VRX lowered with 19's...
