Should be in the same place as in my te (i found it by accident trying to fix my heater), take off the panel in the passenger footwell. There should then be two metal plates, take off the front one (one closest to the front of the car) and it should be just in there, a small metal box with bosch ecu on it :D

Hmm did you take off the forward triangular piece of metal as well???

Unless they moved the ecu location from te-th, in mine once taking off the passeneger air directing thing and the side panel, there was another metal panel held on by 3 screws. Behind this was the ecu and, in a small compartment above, the temperature control cable i was trying to get to the end of.

thanks for the info! did anyone else find very dirty grime all over the protective plastic covering the computers? I think i might have some coolant leaking there =/

Is very common for the heater core to leak and the ecu is one of the first places that cops the coolant

I love how mitsubishi seemed to upgrade the ECU in my TL

it has a piece of plastic over it, thin line glued at the back and just shrouded the whole ECU.

not sure what model they bought that in or (or if it was even on the TE or what)
