I was in Singapore when I saw the piece og wood grain flirm that you can cover dash consoles etc... for about $15-20 depending on sizes. they also came in Cabon fibre finish, however I have not seen any shops that really bring in those products yet into Australia.

Thanks. I know they are available in Perth. I guess I'll find them in Melbourne if I look long enough.

probably cheaper to get the wood grian panels off a verada but if ur gonna spend the money dont get a tacky stick on kit get it professionally done for about the same price. http://www.dashboardcentre.com.au got the manga done in rose wood took about a week.

just find a ks verada or kr xi at wreckers and get it from there
Hi, I bought a woodgrain kit from www.importscene.com.au
Talk to Gregg Holden
Paid about $300 including postage to Brisbane.
THe quality of the woodgrain was excellent!! However, the size of the stereo surround was not quite correct.
PM me on jtan66@eq.edu.au if you want more pics

I think the woodgrain looks great!
It adds a nice character to the car :D
Check out this guy's replacement woodgrain in his diamante, oh and the other photo is my stock woodgrain, but shows how the inside looks nice with it :)

Thanks for the info. Great idea but wouldn't my SE Dash be different to a Verada around the heater controls thus making the Verada panel unsuitable?

I looked at the dash kits on importscene.com ($395) and i spoke to dashboardcentre too.. they wanted the same cash for just the centre console and centre vents/HU surround/climate control bit. and to top it off you have leave the parts with them for like a week.. urrrgh...
All seems damn pricey... still thinking maybe just paint the dash parts myself... dunno...

That looks heaps nice!
Looks very well designed.
Are those the stock switches or new ones they put on as well? :)

nar there stock switches. I cleaned off the black to make it brown otherwise it'd look heaps worse with the stick on kit.
