I know this topic has probably been mentioned before but i was just after some advice for the pads in my AWD. I put in new Bendix Advance pads and had the discs machined at the same time. They are so noisy when under light braking such as pulling into driveway or reversing out. The car sounds like a train pulling into a station. It is so embaressing. I have tried washing them, even gone down the street with foot to floor on gas and brakes to heat them up till they dont work to try and clean them which helps for a day but then back to noisy again.
Wanted to put Ultimates on as i have them in the FWD and love em and are nice and quiet but bendix dont make an untimate for the rear of an AWD. they do the front but not rear and there is a lot of squealng also comming from the rear as well.
Anyone else found the advance to be really noisy?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated on how to shut them up as i dont mind the advance.
Thanks guys.
