Hey guys, i'm looking to do some engine mods to my car. Basically I want to have about 250-270hp atw (180-200kW) I want to know from people in the know, what's the best way to go about this. I want to stay NA. I'll be upgrading my clutch aswell. Money really isn't a big issue, probably looking to spend 5-7k.

Please don't flame this thread or destroy it. I'd appreciate all constructive comments and comments from people who've done this kind of work already.

A quote from Jason's VRX profile, i think he's making the sort of numbers you want.

10.1 pistons, Ported ralliart heads, Custom cams & heavier valve springs, Extractors, Hi-flow cat & 2 1/2" exhaust, K&N panel filter, Port matched lower inlet manifold, custom made plenum & thermoblock spacers, Remapped ECU

And Ctulhu, another N/A beast. :D

RPW Race Extractors,
ST Flowed Cylinder Heads,
Tighe Cams w/ 296deg duration,
RPW Valve Springs,
RPW Cam Timing Gears,
ST 2x65mm T/B Inlet Manifold,
Haltech E6X,
High comp pistons,
ST/Custom CAI,
3" Exhaust

If you're lazy like me and can't be ****ed rebuiding your engine by yourself - you're looking at $2,500+ in Labour.
