Any possible way of seeing a bigger pic or the writing bigger? I cant make it out.. but it looks like a good resource.
sorry but the rag part does not say anything about stuffing them in through the spark plug hole. read it properly.

after doing so many heads I still believe the
better way is to remove the heads redo the valves seats check the valve guides and valves for wear check for warpage and correct by refacing the head
also you get to look at the cylinder bores at the same time for dammage and corrosion
Yeah, that's great. Rebuild an engine that will go another 100,000kms because the stem seals are leaking.....wonderful if you have the resources. What do you do if a transaxle seal leaks, rebuild the trans?
I've done a few stem seals on engines, nothing scary about it.

A question about the valve spring compressor for this job.
Is it a Mitsubishi special tool or would Repco, Bursons or Autobarn etc have one?
Thanks.

Repco would have one, pretty common tool.
Mitsubish valve springs are not that high a tension anyways (better than some though)

I realise that to put the adaptor in the rear plug holes and to connect the air hose will be difficult on a TR V6.
Are there any other problems in replacing the seals this way with the 6G72 engine?
