Has anyone tried to get a/c to the rear thru the centre.(98 TF exec) I'm thinking of getting a t-piece for the front centre vent, extra length of duct (from an old commodore) and then grabbing an extra front side vent and cutting it into the rear of the centre console. I'll put a false bottom in the console box. There seems to be plenty room in the console. Any thoughts or bits I should look out for.:confused:

Didnt the TL have rear vents through the centre consol? I know that there is a Magna/Rada out there somewhere with them, I have seen them, just cant remember where.

mums TW awd has vent in the rear? i can try and have a look how its done if u like?

I was right - their in the TL/TWs.

Meanwhile, the TJ (well probably KJ because my TJ2 Sports doesnt have them) has underfloor rear vents:

Probably the same from TE-TJ. Hope this may help as to what parts your after (looks like the centre consol from a TL and the underfloor vents)

thanks for the info Dave, i had a feeling later models had it but wasn't sure which one. a mate of mine gave me the idea of using commodre bits 'cause theyre eay to get from wreckers & cheap. I've seen the underflr ones, but its mainly for cool & fresh air as the no.1 son gets carsick easily, hence if get fresh to the rear i get no kid spew. Does anyone know how much the KJ ones would cost:confused:
