Hey all,
Something else I was considering looking into:
Is it possible to (relatively easily) replace the standard manual A/C stuff (like the one in a TH solara) with a climate control unit?
I bet it's not, just thought I'd ask the question - my bro has a TJ VR-X MY02 that has climate control and I'm jealous. lol

And you need the AC compressor too.. they run a speed sensoror something.. Mitsubishi priced a standard one at $620 staff price and a speed sensor one at $1200.. Crazy. You just wouldnt do it..:)

Differences are...
Power transistor driven by PWM rather than resistor pack (connector B46) for blower speed control.
A/C ECU (connector B13) - (the fancy front panel)
Sunlight Sensor (connector B12 - C10)
Air inlet selection damper Motor (B13 - B02)
Fin Thermo Sensor (B06) - assume for evaporator
Water Temp Sensor (B09) - assume for heater
Outside Temp Sensor (A37)
Airmix Damper Motor/Potentiometer (B08)
Mode Selector Damper Motor/Potentiomenter (B65)
Compressor is no different...
I could work out all of the differences, but it seems a lot of work to convert. At the very least you would need a wreck to do this, along with the service manual so you grab everything - I believe that there are a few non-trivial things like the temp sensors which are buried inside the evaporator - erk.
