TR - Started with a stock tape deck, 4x50w eq/amp. stock 4 inch speakers and really really old pioneer 6x9's in the rear.
Whacked in a sub and amp.
Decided i wanted a cd player so went out and bought a Sanyo cd player plus some new 4 inch speakers.
A little while after that i bought some audioline 7x10's to replace the 6x9, 6x9 moved to the floor (dont ask lol).
Then i did a big upgrade where i bought another sub and a big amp to run both subs.
Then replaced 7x10 with some new pioneer 6x9.
Then i decided the front needed more sound, and whacked in some pioneer 6 inch in the doors.
Then decided that the sound wasn't quite good enough, so i bought a new HU, this time with mp3, AUX/stacker input, 3 5v preouts. Sound was awesome. But my subs still lacked abit, so upgraded to dual MTX thunders.
Also upgraded my RCA leads to stinger special crap that helped the sound out alot.

Then i bought my TJII,
Came with a stock cd player, stock 6 inch and stock 6x9. Sounded ok for a stock system. But that only lasted a day or two and i replaced the HU.
Then the 6x9's, only they were in boxes on my back seat lol (tufftr can comment on this :P).
Then mounted the 6x9's.
Then ran all the cables i needed after finally figuring out how to run the power through.
Then the subs went in, 6x9's were hooked up to the 2 amps that were now in there.
Then last weekend i finally whacked the 6inches in and now it all sounds sweet.

Next is a LCD, DVD combo and a wiring kit so i can actually use my amp and sub :D

Started out by changing the HU (omg stock tape deck!) to an Apline 9807 MP3 unit.. actually had the unit before I bought the car hehe..
-bout $500

Also sold my 10" rockford sub from my last car to buy 2 Rockford 12s and an alpine monoblock amp.. Worked very well until I blew one of the subs and it was time for an upgrade again..
-bout another $800

This time I imported a heap of gear from overseas.. Splits, 2 new 12s, and BIG amps :) (all rockford)..
-around the $2k mark

And finally upgraded the HU recently to the 9855 Alpine unit (with iPod attachment)..
-bargain 2nd hand at $200

Very Happy :)

Started with Mitsubishi premium sound package

Upgraded to Soundstream LOS splits(125rms), Lilwonder 5.830 amp (70 x 4 + 180 x 1 @ 4ohms), Tarantula 6x9's(150rms), 12" Exact sub (500rms-max1000rms), and eclipse CD5435 HU.

Then upgraded amp to Soundstream Tarantula TR500/4 (4 x 125 @ 4ohms)

Total RRP of the system is around $5200.. of course noone pays full RRP though, haha.

I started with a JVC headunit, Infinity Splits and Infinity 6x9s all for $800. Since i have got 2 MTX subs, a jaycar monoblock and an Infinity 4 channel amp. I really dont want to know what the total amount i have spent on it so im not going to work it out.

started all stock, then....

bought a low end pioneer head unit, pioneer 3 way 6"s and some crappy sony 6x9's, got rid of the 6x9's then bought some splits they went in the front, and the 6's in the back, then i got an mtx sub and amp, then i got a near top end pioneer head unit, a jaycar 7" fold away screen and some 6 inch pioneer splits, ****ed off the rear 6 inches and some nice pioneer 6x9's went in, mtx doof package was sold off and pioneer mono block and 2 12's put in place, then i bought a pioneer 2 chan for the splits......and blew it up 2 days later......so i bought another one, just sold the head unit the other day and a pioneer avh-p5650dvd is in now, pioneer subs and mono block have been replaced with 2x kicker solo baric L7's and a kicker 1200.1 mono block, and i currently have a ps2 in there aswell

so as of right now my system concists of
-pioneer avh-p5760dvd head unit
-pioneer bullet splits
-pioneer 6x9'x
-pioneer 2channel 300w amp
-ps2
-2xkicker L7's
-kicker 1200.1 mono block
-stinger wiring
-lots of gold terminals

price errr...... did the calculations and its roughly 7300 dollars..... adds up eh haha
