Hey all I have designed a box for a possible new arrival and was wondering if you can check it out and make sure it is go for settings.

Box will be a 50litre ( minus the baffle and sub volume since it will be mounted arse in )18mm MDF to house a 15inch sub. It will have a single slot port to tune the box to 34Hz. All measurements are in mm.
H 400, W 450, D 367.

The slot port will W 25, L364. The length is going to be the full height of the box minus the 18mm MDF top and bottom. Baffle will be L 321. It will be sealed top and bottom so it will act as the port as well as bracing as the port will have the box wall on one side and the baffle which will run the full internal height on the other.

Does everything sound good?

Sounds great... but only as long as it is the correct volume for the sub! :D

Correct volume for this sub is 42litres  And that is for a large ported box, it can operate in a 35litre ported box.... not bad for a 15inch sub.

I say 50litres as the subs arse + baffle will lose about 4litres and ill give it some room so I can brace it :D
