bought a 92 verada yesterday, so far so good however i wiped the rocker cover clean last night and after driving it today i noticed a streak of oil coming from the cap and streaking down?

Why would it do that?

Because the cap isn't sealing. Try doing it up tighter, if it won't go get another.

Check the gasket under the cap, sometimes it breaks.

With the cap off tighten the screw on the top a bit more, that makes it screw down tighter. :D

Oh as simple as that? I was sitting here thinking of a serious bank account hurting reason of why it was doing it. lol

Thats because you mentioned that it was the cap and not the other. It should be an old cap that is faulty change it and see how it goes.

Had a chat to my bro and it happened to him also, i didn't think it was the cap because it feels like its F'n tight already, but yeh the rubber gasket thingo underneith must be toast.

The rubber gasket goes hard, you can not actually "tighten" the cap as such. Go to mits, they stock the gasket for all of $3.00
