Im about to change my fuel filter and i want to bleed the pressure down in the fuel system. What i cant find is the relay that controls the fuel pump! It isnt in the owners handbook or anything. Is there anyone out there who can help? Many thanks.:D

No no no... remove the base of the back seat - two clips. Remove the 4 screws covering the fuel sender unit/pump in the floor under the seat, Unclip the wiring harness from the sender unit/pump. Start the car - it'll soon stop from lack of fuel pressure. Do what you need to to the fuel system, reverse above proceedure.

Or you could just disconnect the fuel pump relay plug from behind the carpet in the drivers foot well.

Pull back the carpet from under the centre console (1x cristmas tree clip near where your left knee would be when you're in the driving position). Once removed, you will see two wiring connectors side by side - the one furthest forward is the fuel pump relay. Disconnect and start the car a dozen or so times (will snuff out almost immediately).

Done this heaps of times - at least 10mins quicker than removing and reinstalling the rear seat.
