I have a TR magna and my fan will not turn on by itself. I have turned on the A/C and this activates both fans. I'm guessing the thermo fan sensor is broken or thermo relay. Where are these items and is there any way of testing to find out if indeed it is either of these items. If anyone knows of another possible option please advise.

Well not hard to find the relays there on the left side of the engine bay in or around the black box just a matter of know which is which.

The thermo fan switch is in the bottom tank of the radiator, they do give up and are quite expensive to buy genuine (over $100) but a mate of mine bought a non genuine one for about $60, to test if the switch is the prob, just unplug it and bridge the terminals in the plug with a piece of wire or a split pin, if the fan starts, then you know it is the switch.... hope this helps... let me know how you go.
