Hey everyone,
Just a quick question to see if anyone knows how to replace the bulbs in the driving lights.
Cheers,
Chris

There is an easier way. Undo the fog light. Two phillips head screws. Comes straight out undo connector at rear remove bulb and replace with new one. Push fog light back in do up the two screws and your done. This is how i did my 99 Verada. Quicker and easier then mucking around from the back of the bar.

Ok just an update. Tried to install headlight globes, parkers and foggies and I cannot believe how pathetic the design of the engine bay in attempting this is.
Now its pretty standard to be able to change headlight bulbs and Ive done so on many cars. To my dismay when I read the owners manual on the VRX you have to remove a million and one things, and on the passengers side...it states you have to jack up the car and remove the weather shield etc etc. Jack up a car? For a damn lightglobe! I honestly dont think I have the skill the perform this job and I may have to take it somewhere. Oh and dont get me started about the mounting brackets of the H4 bulb.
Just pathetic!
Its a b*tch to change the headlight globes on the TL. It took me over an hour trial and error to mount the globes in securely with the limited space. Its right that you have to remove the weather shield from left hand side but no need to remove wheel although it may help. Removal of battery may also help. They use H4s. Parkers and foggies (H7s) are much easier.

Bad design is an understatement. Im worried what else under the bonner may be like this!
You reckon if I took it to Mitsu on my next service they would charge that much for it?

Not really sure how much they'll charge for labour. They may charge a bit after finding out how hard it is to change it but if your car is still under warranty and is going through a regular scheduled service they may overlook charging you for it.. heres hoping.

Shame its mildly difficult in AUS to obtain 'All Weather' marketed H7 bulbs for front fog lights. You can do so from Narva or Hella for H1 and H3's easily enough, but the link below is for Philips version which could be ordered.
The AW bulbs give a yellowish, 'softer-look' for approaching traffic.

For the H4 headlights and inboard driving lamp compartments, I suggest Narva or Hella PLUS 50 variety.

It's my neighbours fault, don't ask.
I am a member of most AUS motor forums and a few Euro as well, the circles we mix.

Are the FOG LIGHT BULBS in a TH Sports H7's?
Dont wanna go to trouble of taking whole mount off just to see for now. Car is too low to bother changing from underneath/behind.
