i own a th exec with the dial style dash i want to change the lights to blue
my question is are the globes a wedge type globe so i could put leds in or are they sum other weird globe.
i dont really wanna pull the dash out twice

should be a standard T-10 globe

Ok i just done it to my car.I got TJ . So the lights under speedometer dash same size as your parkers so u can get that size LEDs from Autobarn or Supercheap auto in blue ( 4 led lights!) Than under cemtral dash u need 4 led lights but they are very small.I think its 2mm size but u can get them from Autobarn only and i think u have to order them. If u have a question PM me.Oh yeh take care of your dash when u pulin out(speedometer one) there is a plastic cover at the back dont crack it!!!Have fun

Get EL dials they are much more what you would want.

I know because no matter how hard I tried turning the dials blue with globes is just not what you want. Those with El dials can justify that.

So this LEDs in your parkers size but same brand makes them in smaller size too. Check with Autobarn.

I'm old school.......If I wanna change a bulbs colour I just take it off and dab on nail polish in the colour I want. Those crazy crap stores (or whatever) have all the wierdest colours for a coupla bucks each. Why stop at blue?:D

Yeah yeah............and it gives me an excuse for all the nail polish ive got..:P :D

I have to be Honest, these are the best I have seen yet around the threads using leds. But the effect overall would not be as impressive as the ELs. A cheaper solution I guess, good work on your dials, best and brightest blues I have seen in a while. Have seen others who have posted and didn't look that great. Normally blue is pretty difficult to look at if not bright enough which was why I suggested EL dials. Depending on what you want the whole EL setup can cost as low as $35.00 vs 2 pairs of LEDs at $8.90 I believe each? I will give these LEDs a go again when I redesignmy instrument cluster.
Anyone have a scanner to get templates out of the 3rd gen dials? It be grade to make our own.

I went to Autobarn but the guy told me they never had them befor.So i asked him to call (what ever they order stuff from )and ask if there is any LEDs in very small size.And they make them in smaller size so he ordered for me and i got it in 2 days. It cost me 7.95 for 2 leds! Its the same brand as bigger size! MONZA!Tell them that i got it from Autobarn on the Gold Coast,Bundall.I am sure they can order it for u.
Allso when u will get bigger ones get it with 3 leds in it.It will make VERY bright!!!!

I do not know if Taraska had different globes to give a brighter effect ie, 2 white and 2 blue.
I did try this and hated it and thus different colour spots. I will let him answer this as I do kind of impressed with how brightly lighted he managed to do it.

For the aircons-the smaller globes are T5 I believe you can get these from anywhere including rice auto stores. I got narva red leds for my EL dial converts.

Regarding EL dials they are as cheap as US$3.99-$8.00 depending on seller. Look at what they charge for shipping. Most of them within $14.00 to ship to Aus (is a rip off) but hey who else going to ship it?

Which comes to a total of AU$28-35?
Of course there is a set back like everyone here knows. Is that these EL dials are in mph and you need to double the speeds and get adjusted to the numbers in mind. ie 20 is 40kmh and so on.

There are EL dials local in Aus but they cost $230? or less not too sure. but they are in Kmh so is all good. You could select the colours you want though ( as in comes in red, blue green)
