I got a set of the RPW Race extractors on the car....
have been on for a couple weeks now.

Have found that i can hear a rattle coming from where the flex pipe is under the floor, has anyone else found this that has the RPW extractors put on?
Is is mine just loose  haha

Cheers,
Russell

Quite a few people have experienced this. I haven't been bothered to fix it yet. I think someone used steel ties / clamps in strategic locations to fix theirs. Another option is to replace the flex pipe.

Haha... you sound like me. The other thing is that it kinda gives it a metalic rasp which lets me pretend I'm driving an M3 :bowrofl:

i am saving up for RPW race extractors for my 2nd gen.

do they really make heaps of difference?

it certainly opens the car up from 3 grand onwards. used to be able to hear a definate change in exhaust note (before being defected)
i feel that as a mod itself ur paying alot for what you get, but if u intend on doing some more stuff ontop, a good base mod to have.
Dont know much about pacemaker, but i was happy dealing with RPW.

Mine don't do it.. at least not that I've noticed. I got a horrible metallic flapping noise when I first had them fitted, but that was traced to a busted gasket.

Prepare to get booked for being too loud lol I hope you've got a centre resonator in your exhaust. I've got two and it's still too loud. Not looking forward to meeting any cops at MM :shifty:

I had to replace both my flex pipes. The rear flex pipe needed to be bigger. Both have to be double braid. It could also be cause by firetrucked engine mounts. Get yourselves new flex pipes and you'll be fine

I have the noise, and its a week old. Like a buzzing, also I can quite clearly hear the pulses under load.

noted. More like $200 all said and done, they arent that long even for double braided numbers.
