Supiria sold it to me for $300 :cool: (its unlicenced though)


The alternator is stuffed in it so i had to put mine it and it started up fine :) Its a little smokey and has a rough idle but it handles SOO much better than my POS.

The alternator gave me and my bro the absolute ****S!! but the awsome tunes of ACDC provided by Supiria gave us the motivation to keep us going and we got it on lol.

While driving, i noticed a really loud wirring sound at around 60kph and gets louder as you go faster. Its probably just the tyres though.

These are the pics that Supiria sent me i dont have my digi camera only god will no where it is.

It tripped me out to see the stock stereo in it and it actually works !

now supercharge it already :P

also that wirring noise is it a whine, cos if it is it might be the diff, as my car does it, the more speed the louder it gets

It comes from the rear so im not sure now :confused: but you are probably right. Cant wait to get it licenced.

I am thinking of getting it re sprayed but not sure what colour.

could the whine be fron the rear wheel bearings ? or sticking brakes ?

Anyways, yeah im pretty happy with the car. I love the interior :D I like the little lights at the front near the sun visors and how bright the interior lights are. Oh and that little red light at the bottom of the doors :)

I have to get used to leccy windows. The rear right one doesnt move up or down but the motor spins. I might fix that today.

Also, i have to get used to power steering while driving a manual.

My rear right window in my elite has the every same thing its more then likely its the white cable holder has snapped off the metal holding bracket thats what mine did anyways tryed fixing it with superglue and cableties didnt work :P

Nice car and as you said in a round about sort of way, the Elante is such a different animal to drive.

WOW now that brings back memories :) i had one the same color but i payed $4,000 from a dealer ouchies yes but it was showroom condition and EVERYTHING worked, climate, cruise, windows ect.
Also those seats are damn heaven, the Elante i miss it sooo much :( it burn to the ground which was a sad sight and to this day i still rekon it had more bells n whistles then most new cars, even luxury ones :D
