Melbourne Herald Sun had a good write up on the TR (i think) magna in the cars guide on Friday 28/4/06. Had tips on what to look for when buying, common problems etc. Was a full page write up, quite a good lot of info.

I read that, but did'nt mention things Like one of the most common problems to look out for which would be the smoke coming from the exhaust.

Everything seemed true but they did'nt write much up on the V6........60/100 aint bad for a car that is 13 years old.

And i mean even the New Alfa Deisel only scored 62/100 so the mits wasn't going to bad!

Did it mention the annoying rattling noise? :D

That was so embarassing on the TS before DAMN
I see a lot of normal and bombed out second gen magnas driving with that noise too.

just remember you enquiring about valve stem seals, and as you wrote there I can tell you hadn't done it yet...

you planning on doing it yourself ? or at the mechanics?
