What type of rims are they ?

And nice colour choice for the VRX too... & I hope you like your 380.
Any personal comments on it? (as you own a 380 I thought I'd ask)

Mate, couldnt be happier with it. Ive just come out of a VX SS pumpin 232rwkw and it just doesnt compare. What the 380 looses out in straight line grunt it makes up in handling, dynamics and general refinement and build quality. :bowrofl:

Nice dude. Love the colour. 20" rims suit the 380 nicely. Did the dealer lower the car at all?

Yeah, dealer did the wheels and lowering. Think he said it had a set of Pedders but I forgot to ask how much lowered by. Bit hard to tell due to the rims but Im happy with the overall look, still high enough to clear the speed humps and my driveway.

that looks *** hot mate,
i reckon you could actually squeeze 21's or 22's under those guards even.

that looks hot, but 20's dont look like 20's lol i think the 380 needs 22's. but very nice car.
They are Vöxx Saga II rims.
I was looking at a set for my XR6T (not chrome though) decided against it.
Car looks nice, its still missing something.. Maybe needs to be lowered more? and some Tyre Blackener...

Just something about it that look like it's missing. But looks hot mate! Dunno about the rims, but they're growing on me :).
And lol @ all the people saying "They dont look like 20's, you should get 21/22". Yeh cuz 20's aren't really that big when you think about? lol.

go the 20s ;)
i feel like i should be saying.. bigger rims.. or get it lower.. but its riding pretty low already... you cant really lower it anymore sensibly... and getting bigger rims is probobly out of the question.. but why does it still look empty :S
either way.. respect for 380 modifications! Theres a gold one floating around west syd... i probobly see it 3 times a day.. at locations miles and miles apart.. and i know he sees me too. hehe. Hes got 18 or 19 chromies. nice car.. really growing on me.

To me theres too much blue. You need something to split it up abit, i know some people might say they're tacky, but something along the lines of GT striping down the bottom, or pinstriping even? Just something to break the blue up abit.
From the reports i've heard the 2 biggest restrictions are the intake and the exhaust. Replace those with some aftermarket high-flow ones and you could be seeing a decent boost in power. Though i haven't really heard of anyone who has done it yet. You could be the first :).
Forgot to add in my other post.
Any chance for some more 'upmarket' pics?
Like some high res with scenery, nice backdrops etc etc..
..GONE..

PHAT!!
It's a very clean car.. not overdone or anything.. Just a lil lower and some rims.. Doesn't look too bad..
I quite like it.. I'm thinking Black on Blacks.. Ooohh.. PIMPIN!
SuFz
Dayum thats nice, but even 20s have been dwarfed by the size of the 380. I reckon maybe just an inch lower to help fill out the guards a little more ?
Still looks really tidy none the less, enjoy the car.

It needs a subtle body kit. A deeper front bar, some side skirts to 'toughen' the look....IMHO :)
Everytime I see a 380 on the street, I think...yeah, that does look nice.

I hear you man!:) DEFINETLY needs a bit more of a kit, particularly some side skirts. Don't know how they'd do it, but I reckon it's missing a character line... Just something to liven it up moreso. I really do like it, but I can understand where people come from when they say it's a little lacking in design flair.

I would love it if Mitsu put full chrome exterior (and interior) door handles on the 380 LX and GT. It would look bloody hot as, I've seen it on some Accords (which have the same type of handle) and it looks bloody hot as when the car is black.
Looks sweet as.
I'd love to get one as my next car, but you know what they say

How about putting some wagon wheels off an old horsecart i reckon theyd be big enough in diameter! :bowrofl:
There comes a point were rims sizes get too big (especially with our crap roads), soon ya may as well throw the tyres away and drive on solid alloy mags!
I can just see a heap of knuckleheads going and buying 21/22" rims and then putting retreads on (if they were available) cos they cant afford tyres!
Anyway, i reckon 19's/20's on the 380 look just about right size. Just need to lower them about 2 1/2" (maybe 3") from factory and tint the windows dark. :)

But looks good mate. Needs some serious lowering, then it will look alot better. Good choice :)

Hey guys,
Below is a link to an interesting thread over at the ls1 forum regarding a guy who put 22s onto a VT GTS. I admire him for his daring to be different but personaly I feel they are a little "overdone" but to each there own, if he has that sort of money to spend on wheels/tyres/suspension at his age then good on him.
Thanks to all for your comments regarding my new ride. I hear yuz for saying it needs to be still even lower but I am at my limits due to my driveway being on quite a steep incline from the street. As it is I have to reverse out VERY slowly and turning quite sharply, I have about 5mm clearance under the front spoiler. Was the same with my previous SS, very minimal clearance. Being a daily driver it still needs to be practical.
Of course the other option is to dump it more and leave it on the street at night  .......its either that or tucking into a secure garage

Anyway, i reckon 19's/20's on the 380 look just about right size. Just need to lower them about 2 1/2" (maybe 3") from factory and tint the windows dark. :)
agreed.
I think even those 20s look slightly too big perhaps. Hard to say though, would have to see it lowered slightly more to make my mind up on that.
Really irks me when people get massive wheels just for the sake of getting massive wheels (ie, 22's on that commo), and it just looks stupid!

Just an idea from a couple of comments Ive had from friends regarding the looks of the car from the rear....
If anybody is able to play with a photoshop type of program, grab one of the pics I posted and give the tail lights on the VRX a slight tint??
Would like to see what it looks like.
Cheers.

Wow, that looks really good (he did like this for my car too). But by the time your car is lowered this much (about 3 inches I estimate) it will scrape and scratch on everything, and you will be limited to where you can park (using ramps, driveways, etc).
But top effort though!
Im with valaxy it doesn't look right. The guard isn't an equal distance from the hub all the way around, looks odd.
