Hey guys,

2 questions;

- My engine mounts have just about had it in my 99 KH verada 3.5L and I was looking into replacing them with solid or reinforced ones instead of going with the factory mounts. I've asked Phillcom if they could supply me with such part and i've had no luck, so does anyone know where I could get a such a part or does anyone have any for sale?

- Also I want to purchase Pacemaker extractors but my mate who i'm getting them from said he can get me the stainless steel HM Header extractors which are around the $780 mark for the same price ($475). So, Has anyone got a set on their car and/or are they similar, better or worse compared to the paceys?
Links;
HM headers http://www.hmheaders.com.au/products/index.php?action=view&productid=23
Pacemakers http://www.pacemaker.com.au/mitsubishi.htm (scroll to the bottom)

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

Someone (maybe megatron) from the Queensland Division does these. Have a search in the Queensland section.

extractors - go rpw. they've dropped their prices bigtime lately and from memory they have sets for cheaper than 475.

engine mounts - again contact rpw.. i thought i he had something. Also it might be better going standard engine mounts. You'll really feel engine vibrations through the car with stiffer engine mounts.

Michael PM the member MrNIZMO (John I think)on these forums for contact details about a dude that does factory style engine mounts at a very good price (installs too).

He helped me out when I needed a top engine mount (being manual the standard one didn't last long at all:badgrin: ).

But the replacement I got has held up very well, still looks new (had it for about a year now) and is supposed to be of a better design then the factory mount (believable).

oh yea just thought id add this. incase u dont have the money strait up for the poly mounts in the queensland section, this will show u how to do a diy solid ploy mount. well at least it will tie u over till uve got the dough and ensure nothing else breaks before u can get the real deal. ive done it to one of my cracked mounts only till ive saved up for the other ones. and its been like that for 2 months with no probs what so ever. and its a cheap alternitive for now.
