putting driving lights in my car in the next few days and i also got the switch off a verada to turn them on and off so my question is
how hard is it to pull all the steering wheel etc off to change the shafts over and is there any cabling or harnesses in my car that i can use to operate the driving lights or do i have to do it all from scratch

Edit : i downloaded the service manual awhile back that someone posted a link for and i have been through it heaps to try and find it but cant seem to find anything but the part is the Column Switch Assembly ... i need the lights side of it
but this is just going nowhere :(

Are they actual 'driving lights' used in conjunction with high-beam, or say 'white optic' front fog lights for use under hazardous weather conditions, heavy rain, fog, snowfall etc?
You needn't use factory wiring or switch, aftermarket switches are just fine.
COMPLIANCE CODING, for a front fog light look closely at the lens, you will see an 'E mark', with a number in a circle next to it, example (E13). NEAR this mark will be the letter "B", example; "02B". It is this letter 'B' that represents compliance approval for front fog light.
A 'driving lamp' will bear the letter "R"; example "HR", here to mean halogen driving light.
NB - Do NOT exceed 55 watts for a front fog light - you need to reduce glare, not increase it.
