Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has successfully replaced their front corner lights (the ones beside the headlight).

I have KH Verada with parabolics and orange indicators. I have since purchased a pair of regular (smoked-look) TE-TJ Magna corner lights, and am waiting for them to arrive.

The owner's manual only has very sketchy instructions on how to remove & refit the corner lights, for example, to replace the bulb.

So if anyone out there has done this before, I would appreciate any advice and stuff I should watch out for. I remember that when I changed my headlight & high beam bulbs, the wiper washer bottle (right-side) and battery cover (left-side) had to come out too. Hoping that replacing the corner lights won't be tricky!

Thanks
Justin

there is a spring hook thingy, unhook that and push it from behind. POP!!! attach plugs to new light (might as well remove the amber lens inside while their out), slide em back in, rehook the spring. ur done. will prob have to remove washer bottle and battery to get to them easily

Shouldnt be that difficult not like my case anyway. I changed to parabolics and the standard brackets were causing me a hard time to fit in the corner lights. I think is should be ok for your case. In fact probably done within 10 20mins? max.

Hey bud,

Here is something that'll help:

You will have to remove the washer bottle to get to the drivers side light, but you should be able to get to the passenger one without removing anything.

I did the same with my KH too. Got rid of the orange lens lights, and put the magna ones one.
And i removed the inner orange lens. Looks Brilliant. Heres a pic:
