I know there has been a couple of lpg conversion threads going lately, but I was thinking of getting the airrod gas conversion system for my 2000 tj sports.(made by med industries, medauto.com.au), the local workshop using this maufacturer. Has anyone heard of or used this system in there magna. Ive noticed a few people have mentioned impco systems, but the local mechanic says airrod is fine?

No Disrespect but sif convert a car to gas, its not gunna be a real car anymore, your messing with its heart.
like if i chopped of you penis and replaced it with a plastic one, your not gunna be a real man anymore are ya ?
If you wanna save on fuel, buy a motorbike to get to work and back or buy a little car, like a getz or something, or a mirage or lancer if u wanna keep it in the family.

But some women might be happier....
Anyhow, I was thinking of a liquid injected system with LPG for my car.

Never heard of that one.
And Mr Bishi, no disrespect, but my car is still a very good real car on LPG

how some people love to show their ignorance???
I've been thinking of a gas conversion also. Own three motorbikes, none of which return noticably better fuel consumption than the magna.
If you've gotta be a dick and criticise other peoples (economic) decisions, do us all a favour and delete your comments before you post it.
BTW, wanna line up your REAL petrol powered car and my straight gas 360 drag charger? thought not!
Grow up and have some respect for other members

you do relise a car using straight gas does have more potential for power than a petrol powered car? you are able to run higher boost for turbosupercharged cars and higher compression. The octane rating is something like 110ron

i converted my patrol to run straight lpg and tuned it to suit, more power yes... drives smoother and cheeper, any motor will run on lpg but it must be tuned right, my patrol has the original head on it i was told it will need a valve saver fitted well now its up to 393000km and been on lpg since 330000km no problems yet it sat under my house for 6 months with out starting it, went out to it turned the key fired up and didnt miss a beat.. in the 4 years its been fitted i havent had to touch anything but the idle mixture as they tend to run lean after the diaphram stretches,

I only heard of lpg conversion to work with petrol. Is there such conversion from petrol only into lpg only? If so, will it use the existing petrol tank instead of putting a new one in the boot?
