hay guys just wanna now if any one has removed the rear engine mount and if so did u need to remove the bracket first . and if u did remve the bracket hw'd u get to the bldy bolts. ive taken off the through bolt and the bolts holding down the mount. now the manual says to drop it out the bttom. and yes ive jacked the engine up but i need to take off the bracket to get it ,but i cant seem to get anythig in there to remve the bolts. ive tryed sockets, ring spanner, open end spanner, rachet spanner. any hints or tips from ppl who have done it would be great i know its not a big job just frustrated and im gonna leave it alone till the morning or ill end up smashimg it.

yes
I only done about ten
problem is if there is power steering the pipes run over the bolts
I undid the through bolt
then pushed the pipes clear of bolts for the socket
I got several long extensions and a universal with a spring and ratchet
and undid the chassis bolts from the top of the engine

then you have to put the car on car stands hop under neath jack up the engine to get clearence
If you need more engine clearence undo the 4 bolts in the drivers side wheel arch to release the gearbox rubber mount bracket

yea the power steering was in the way but undid all the bolts for the mount. and shes alredy on stands. just cant seem to get too the bracket bolts. thanks for ur time. just have too hit it again in the moring. ill try undoing the driver side mount that might work easyer

OK its out. dont think i wanna do it again for a while. to get it out i took off the trans mount and jacked her up, but in doing so i split the mount on the passenger side grrr. but aleast its off. thanks buffy for the suggestion about the mount made it alot easyer.
