Hi all,the missus has a TS V6 manual and we have a problem with the fan switch on the dash.On cold starts the fan doesnt come on at all until a couple of minutes down the road. This is a real pain and dangerous, because you cant demist the windscreen.
Do you guys have any idea whats going on, or have any of you had the same problem?
Thankyou,Adam69.

I think the lower settings on fans just go sometimes, but it's odd that yours works after a while.
Does it work if you sit there for a bit and warm it up, instead of driving with a foggy windscreen?
I may be stating the bleeding obvious here, but I demist my windscreen with the fan on med/high, the heater on AND the aircon on until the job is done.;)

lower settings? on mine NO settings work, until the car is a kilometer or 3 down the road, then i get blown away with the conditioned air that the fans havent bothered to move for the last ten minutes :(

A quick search found a few mentions of the resistor. Have you checked out this option?
One poor bloke asked a similar question last December and never got a reply. It was his only post!

Yeah should be a resistor somewhere I heard of this and my old man had the same issue on his TN Magna he once had just needed the resistor replaced and all was fine again.

Yeah mine has no fan at all till a few kays down the road.
If somebody knows where the resister is i will change mine and see if we can fix this.

my dad has suggested it may be a ****ty ground somewhere...u get 5k down the road, hit a bump, fan grounds and away we go
next day off ill be tracing back to find the ground and give it a good run down

i dont think its the switch itself, as it works fine when the fan is actually running

Ok here we go found out were the "Blower Motor Resistor" is located in my haynes manual.
You will find it located behind the glove box
PLUS
Also found that there is a "Heater Relay" as well and is locted under the dash of the driver side with the fuses you will see 2 round relays and it's the one one the right.
I would try removing the relay and pluging it back in and the same with the resistor plug incase it's just loose contact if not replace.
Also check the fuse in the fuse box.
Can't be anything else but the fan it's self.
