Hi everyone,
Having had my TE v6 for 3 months now, 200,000 kilometres old. I really like the car
but now and again it wont start.
I read on an older post( can,t find it again) about turning the key on and of again 10 times and it goes , well it works but not necessary 10 times usaully nine.
go figure??
a couple of times i have taken out the engine fuse under the bonnet and replaced it and it went on the first turn of the key. now if it won't go i just turn it 9 times or so and away she goes
Mitsubishi wont help with advice, just bring it in but they say.
they can only pick up the fault codes if it wont start which is not always, same as an auto electrician who knows how to read the fault codes.

So would anyone know what the fault codes are and how to access them, I have read codes before on a nissan so I have half an idea how to do it

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks Robin

Near your left foot (when u sit in the car) there is a "D" type connector, that is where to read the error codes... but to help you out even more it sounds like a faulty imob wire that goes arround the barrel. Bloody TL's dont have that light there anymore (personal grumble). Anyhow, it could be that. $13 for part, $50 to install.
