It has minor improvements like maybe speed alert and taken out any buggy stuff which was encountered with the TE version. and yeah is not tellable by just looking in fact you can't different anyone if we mod it to look like it. You could simply put a TH grille and change the tail lights and add new TH looking badges and you can't tell from the exterior. The interior would let you guess whether is a TH, TE or TF for the matter. But exterior looks if not easy to tell, unless you pop the bonnet to look at the Engine part no which also state the chassis no.

KE verada has single airbag, KF verada has dual airbags, aside from that not much for the Verada
This is in the EI model, not sure about the XI

any dash pieces will fit into your car aslong as its not from a TL TW as mitsubishi changed the WHOLE console for this and made the gear stick surrround slightly longer, and the centre console compartment slightly smaller.

the cup holders from the tf-tj will fit into a te no probs.
try some magna wreckers. yellow pages (http://www.yellowpages.com.au) is your friend :D
TE/KE have an actual plastic badge where the model designation is stuck on the bootlid.
The TF/KF have a laminated sticker there.
Speed alert became standard on all TF's. Not there on TE's. (Although KE have the tripcomputer)

I think we are getting a bit confused because there are 2 models of KE and KF veradas. The EI and the XI. XI is top of the range, EI is slightly lower spec.
The EI verada (KE and KF) does NOT have trip computer, only speed alert. However the XI may have the trip computer being top of the range, but I can't confirm.

The KE EI verada does not have speed alert but the KF EI does.
You should have clock setting buttons where the speed alert buttons would be in a TF/KF onwards.
