Sometime in the next 2 weeks i plan on installing a CAI and K&N panel filter. Im just wondering where would be the most beneficial place to mount the pipe in terms of highest cold air flow :think:? Also.... how would i go about mounting it in that certain place (ie, some sorta bracket etc etc)? Those with CAI's, what setup have you got in terms of mounting?

You can have it under the car but it would be more benficial to have it forward facing. On a Ralliart that is very hard to do though.

I had a post in EZ Boys pod box thread showing my install from start to finish. With Disciples (and mine was similar), your pushing **** up hill interms of airflow.

Personally if you don't have a spare foglight hole (these are in a good +ve pressure area), then don't bother. I think the negatives outweight the benefits interms of airflow and airtemp.

Well i don't have fog lights....so looks like i've got the pefect spot for the pipe. I was thinking of puting it there but i thought i may aswell ask and see what other peeps have done.

I want to do the same thing, is there a specific kit you can buy for the Magna. If so where?

I dont have a spare foglight hole, i just put mine next to the hole in the lower section of the bumper, works fine....

this is how i mounted mine when i first did a CAI..... worked well...

didnt have a panel, had a POD.... with the pod exposed i had a bloddy dirty engine bay with all the **** the CAI picked up.....lol
