Hey guys, I have a Boss 720watt amp and a JBL 1000watt sub, sounds nice for what I need.

One question though, the way the sub has been bridged (3+4 channel), I have to turn the balance on the Head Unit all the way to the right to make it actually sound 'bassy'. Otherwise it's just mild, the more to the right I make it, the more bass there is, the more to the left, the less there is and in the middle it's just a dull thump..

My question: How can I make it so I can leave it in the middle and get the same bass response as I normally get with it all to the right? Not sure if this is clear to understand or not..

Hopefully someone can help! Thanks guys.

Thats just weird. Turn up the gain of the amplifier (on channels 3 + 4).

Umm, might be a little obvious, but are you sure you connected the RCAs correctly?

If so, then that's a weird one.

do u have 6X9s in the back and only ones working propley, you may be getting confused with the bass from them?

thats odd. Sounds like you have bridged the wrong channels.
