I have 2 tp wagons 1 is a manual carby and one is an efi auto. What I want to do is to convert the carby manual to efi and the auto to carby. Will everything just swap over or is there more things involved. Also is the automatic transmission tied to the efi. IE will it work without the efi and with carby. I also have a carby off a TM auto.

Can this be done

It thought all the TP's came as EFI, and the carby motor was re-introduced later as a cheaper option...

Yes I think the carby has the throttle position sensor on it.
Can I take the wiring loom out of the auto and the auto transmission still work.
Doesnt it have wiring that goes back to the tcu. Can I just leave that wiring there and take out the efi wiring or are the wires together. IE is the tcu tied to the EFI.
