View Full Version : MAF plug problems
Got a TP Magna Injected Elante manual and i have been running around with the MAF plug disconnected as it idles better. When i plug the MAF in it idles rough.
Any clues why this is so, i've changed the plugs.

I read this somewhere so dont laugh at me but i read that if your MAf runs worse when connected, it could be your O2 sensor is stuffed or your cat is clogged.
Thanks for the response guys
How do i reset the ECU? undo the battery?? I have also tried another MAF sensor with the same result.
However, it does perfrom better with the plug in, more throttle response!!!

The Afm has also has a atmospheric pressure sender built into it witch it uses to adjust air/fuel ratios and ignition timing
and my car won't even idle without my AFM connected and if i try to drive get to 2500 and studders
hope this helps
