car is a TE manual, problem is u press the clutch in and the pedal slowly returns (takes about 2 seconds)

S far i have:

-Re-bleeded the system- did nothing
-cleaned all lines - did nothing
-Rebuilt bothe master and slave cylinders (only seal kits)- did nothing
-Put in a new clutch damper unit (small box that mounts on the slave cylinder) - this also did nothing

So now I am pretty stumped and annoyed at why this is happening, unless there is something structurely wrong in the master or slave i can figure out what is going on,

I figured it out, it was the smallest of things, a little spring valve in the slave cylinder had come out of its position causing the fluid to be restricted on the way back
