Hi Guys,
Yes I did know there are 1st Gen magnas ;)
Anyways, can people post some pics of the efi and carbi motors so I can see if it's posible to develop a custom inlet manifold for these beasts please.
Thanks heaps.
so heres the pics and commentry about a carby magna...
The motor with everything attached

i was thinking about modifiying this plate to join the airbox there...

If you are in victoria i can donate an efi tp. Also some carby ones are different aren't they? they have anti pollution of something.

nope never had any heat problems. the temp never goes over half way. i took mine off cos every 1st gen ive come across thats had the heat shield on all its life has had cracks in the factory headers . so ive been lead to belive that the heat sheild has does more bad than good. as in it keeps to much heat on the exuasht , thus in time cracking it. oh and i think it looks ugly.hope thats the answer u wanted:D

Yep I took mine of last night because I thought it was ugly but it seemed to get pretty hot under the hood with out it today so I put it back on and I was going to see what it is like with it there (never payed any atention to it)....

Thanks to everyone for the pics - got all I need for the time being.
Wondering if anyone has or knows of a *spare* plenum lying around doing nothing, perhaps ready to assist with forging ahead into 1st Gen Performance Folk Lore?? ;)
