Hey guys,

Just put a GPS into my car, just would like to get your opinion on what you think of the positioning, can anyone suggest a better place that I could put it? Or even perhaps somehow embed it into the cars interior, maybe just underneath the head unit?

I was also wondering if you can give suggestions on the 12V power cable, it goes from the cradle of the unit, into the 12V adapter next to the ash tray. At the moment (u can see in the pic) Im bringing it down the side of the air vents down past the head unit. Thing is the cable it really long, and it gets in the way of the drink holder etc. I was thinking of somehow hiding it underneath the ashtray? Or if anybody else has ideas?

Looks like its terribly in the way there! If it would fit under the head unit, or maybe on the drivers side of the dash, they would probably be better options. And if you coiled up any excess cable and taped it under the ash tray with electrical tape (or the like) that would possibly solve that problem. Hope this helps!
