What do people mean when they say "long motor"?
means complete engine dont it ?
and short motor is like just the block or something

thats about right....was reading up on it the other day, a long motor is the complete engine, a short motor is an incomplete engine that bolts onto whatever parts you currently have.

A long motor may not include intake manifold/throttle body. Also things like starters etc may be missing. You would really have to ask the seller.

I've just been looking around a few forums/ringing wreckers just trying to get prices for a engine that I can pretty much just pull apart without worrying about wrecking something or my own car being off the road etc.
Some of the forums the guys sid long motor, so thats where the question comes from.
Just want to have something I can play with to get some experience, as the engineering course im doing at the moment, these first years are all threory and ive just got an urge to rip apart a motor lol
Anyways thanks for cleaning it up.
