In my TP sedan it would seem that my fuel gauge only goes up half way (even when full to the brim) my taco only works when/if it feels like it on a bumpy road (if the stars are in the right position) Now I have been reading this forum for a while and I found someone replaced their analog gauges with the digital style, would this fix my problem or is it just some lose wires?
Thanks for the help!

Sounds like either you've got some loose connections on the back or the voltage regulater (little 3 legged jigger on the back of the gauges) is on the way out. Try taking them out and giving all the connections a bit of a clean and tighten.
Replacment clusters usually arnt that expensive from the wreckers if you wanna just replace the whole thing.:D

Soon as I get some cash under my belt I will go and have a look at the wreckers... but until then I will have a look around behind the dash...
Any hints on how to get in?

theres just 2 screws at the bottom , 1 left and 1 right with the liitle dash lights in between (u know petrol low light, o/d light so on so on). ull have 2 little covers over the screws like little grills should be able to pop em out with a thin flathead.
