I like to ask a question regarding the KL/W verada rims or and of the similar. This is regarding the bolts for the rims are they different from standard Magna mags?

Thanks in advance.

the bolts.. as in where they attach to the wheel? as in the offset and stud pattern? If that's what you're asking about, they're exactly the same in all 3rg gen magnas/veradas.

Strange that I have asked the dealer regarding KL Verada rims and he told me that they were different as each bolt will cost me $12.50 each.

I was asking for XI or Ei rims just for further understanding of the topic. and yes bolts that attach to the wheels was what I was referring.

Can someone confirm this?

The bolts are identical, the nuts wont be though. You should be paying roughly $1-2 per nut, so lets say $10 per wheel (assuming the wheels dont come with nuts).
*EDIT*
Just re-reading your post, sounds like the dealer is trying to squeeze some money out of you, or he doesn't know what he's talking about. Maybe the genuine nuts are pricey? Either way you can get after market ones like i said at any tyre store for $30-$40 a set.

Ok I got it wrong, I meant the nuts for the verada is different from the standard magnas?
I know the center caps cost $35 each sigh..

Yes the nuts are different. But no way they'd be $12.50 EACH! Maybe $12.50 a wheel? Pricey but that would sound more like it. The centre caps should come with the mags?

i went to motorsport wheels here in vic and i payed $6 a rim for nuts for my verarda wheels. dosnt really matter it they are mitsi nuts or aftermarket ones. as long as they hold your wheels on properly.

Yup that's exactly right. Any tyre shop will sell them, you'll pay between $1-2 a nut.

Thanks for that, I didnt want to get rip off for $12.50 a nut!

Are the center caps standard also? meaning you can put other caps besides mits not that I am intending to, I am viewing my options here.

The thing is I am not really wanting to go for fancy rims as I intend to travel a lot especially country and thus wanted something comfy and still affordable and still look presentable. Money dont come easy even if I can earn to grab new rims I feel a deep cut in my pockets not to mention tyres are not even fitted.

Thanks for the input guys!

You may find some generic caps or even caps from older mitsu mags that will fit. Alot are a standard size, but you'd have to measure them up first. i was looking at getting mits caps for my ford rims, but decided that stickers would do the trick :P.
