I'm trying to remove the clear plastic cover off a spare indicator I was given for the front of my TR Magna. I can't use the entire unit because the locks and etc on the back are broken. So i'm just wondering if there is any easy way to get the Clear Cover Lense off an indicator. Cheers.

if its for the FRONT you have to melt the glue...which means oven time.

It really not worth the time when you can go wreckers and get one in good nick for $5

The wreckers near me, who are cheap for most things, still charge $20 per indicator.

So has anyone actually ever done the oven thing with these lights, or is it all in theory based on what other people have done with other lights? 'Cause I wouldn't mind doing some mods inside my indicators, but don't want to screw it (and the oven).

Yeah the glues a prick, I've already busted the light that was given to me (the casing not the cover), but yeah, the glue on there is ****ed, may aswell just buy one from wreckers.
