just wondering if regular manual shifting in an auto can cause problems. i seem to be doing it a lot lately mainly to get it to change from 3rd to 2nd when i want it to when cornering. who else does this daily and has anyone had or heard of problems casued by doing it?

i did it to mine all the time, and i had the auto in it for a good 2 years i think... didn't really seem to mind it at all.
of course i wasn't over the top trying to drop gears too early or anything, just was nice to have a little bit of control over it.

I do it all the time, saves my brake pads. Just make sure you don't do it at high speeds.
Look in your manual to see the speeds that should not be exceeded in each gear and you'll be right.
