yes it is - but also - this does not apply to the TE on Magnas - they come with a true 2/5"

Minor detail but MMAL told me it's actually 60.5mm. It's closer to 2.4' than 2.5' but close enough to 2.5' for me.
yeh i was told its like 60mm
caz japanese use that system of numbers

hey i got a TE magna, i think the exhaust is only like 2&1/4 inch, but i dunno, probably have to ask "mitsiman" to find out for sure,either way, the stock exhaust is ample for my humble 3.0L

I think the older ones had 2 1/4, where as the newer ones have a 2 1/2 pipe. Not sure when the transition was. ???

And it's a system that the US refuses to admit is better..coz they wont admit to the French being right...
Or anyone that's not US being right lol :lol: :lol:
Oh and just for interest's sake, 2.5" is usually 63mm

2.5" = 63.5mm
To convert 1" = 25.4001mm.
Cheers.

Yeah that's right...I was talking more in the fact that metric and imperial measurements dont line up.
So the "equivalent" of 2.5" in the metric system is 63mm
Like in hardware you can buy bolts that are 13mm, 25mm, 50mm, 63mm etc...they work in rough equivalents to imperial sizes but arent exactly the same.
Metric is a far superior system anyway, I dunno why we even bother using imperial!
