i hear that illegal tint voids insurance.. im getting 20% done... is this true?

Read your insurance policy and/or ring your insurance company ;) I'd assume insurance company is different with their policies.

Yep - apparently it's not the Police you need to worry about - it's insurance!

I have darkest legal here (30-35%?) - it looks real dark/nice. Don't know if i'd want it any darker - it's hard enough to see out at night!

If it is a factor that may have contributed to the accident then they would 95% refuse to pay.

I reckon that 95% as well even if it did not attrib to the accident they would not pay.

I have heard of a guy in a new Patrol that had the 4bie set up for mild touring and equiped the vehicle with a fire extinguisher should anything happen to himself, or one of his fourbie mates... unfortunately for him, he got out of the car, to look at a creek crossing when it caught fire..... all he could do was watch it and all his equipment burn to the ground....
Insurance would not pay up be cause he had a fire extinguisher to put it out, but didn't use it (only cause he couldn't get to it, not being in the vehicle at the time). But insurance said it was there, wasn't used = Insurance Fraud.

Go Figure....

umm...yah they will do nething to get out of paying...

but if u know a panel beater...go for it...if u crash ya car, have it taken there tints off. no one will know.

but it would waste abit of $$$...but id do it so i could have 20%...20% is d shit!!!
