Question 1:
I've just recently got my 2003 model ES TL Magna Wagon with a complete but not exactly-on-time service record and 78000 kms travelled. Seems to be ok but when I'm on an incline, not even necessarily a steep one, even though the car is in drive, the car rolls backwards. Give it some revs and it goes forwards ok, but at idle with no brakes on it rolls backwards. I've never had an automatic that's done this before, my Falcon just sits there. Is this normal for a TL Magna transmission ?
Question 2:
Specifications for an ES model (Drive.com.au) state 6 speakers. Mine only came with 4 ! The two on the dash have not been installed, there is just the dash insert cover there. The car is still under the manufacturers warranty. Any idea if I can ask Mitsu for some to be installed for free ???
All advice appreciated.
I've got the same for question 2.. Mitsu probably released wrong specs at some stage and everyone used the same ones, I only have 4 speakers too.

cant hold mitsu responsible for what drive.com.au says. the mitsu brochure says 6 speakers in 4 locations. the rear ones are 2 way so technically 2 speakers in 1.

Well... I guess I should be happy mine is no different in that it's normal for a newer Magna to roll back. I find it difficult to understand why they are designed this way. I've owned or had as a work car an automatic Escort, Audi, Commodore, Camry, Camira, Cressida, various Falcons, even three different Magna's etc etc and this is the first of any to roll back in this fashion.
*makes mental note to always look in rear view mirror for BMW's*

rollback is 'normal', but also depends a lot on engine RPM.
If engine is idling higher when cold, torque converter will be spinning faster.
When cold my car doesn't do as much rollback as when its warm
on my control slope... aka driveway exit (fairly steep - 1 storey in 1.5 car lengths)
Bit annoying sometimes as I have to drive up to it, key in code
then rollback to navigate thru the door without scraping the door/s.
When engine is on high idle, I gotta neutral it to rollback.
