Hey Guys n Girls, looking at doing another asthetic mod to my beast, as the topic said, looking into colour coding...

Where my question and need for opinion comes in is here:

a) Do i get the grey skirts colour coded along with the mud flaps and the thin grey strip through the doors and have an all over sexy black beast

or

b) Do i get the skirts and mud flaps done leaving the thin grey trim through the doors so i have some contrasting colours.

I just can't make up my mind...

Also, getting tired of chasing down a 2nd hand kj grill so i am thinking of just getting the grill colour coded like a a TJ VRX.

What do you guys think?

Heres a thread i put up a while ago with some pics...

:stoopid:

+ Red calipers, red hubs, red springs and struts. Paint the mufflers gloss black but leave the tips shiny. Needs parabolics, carbon fibre bonnet, carbon fibre laminate the console too :D

i colour coded my car recently looks much better to have it ALL one colour. I was told that in order to respray the strip they have to remove it and when they do it doesnt fit the same after. I bought new strips cost me $35 and i got them painted for nothing.

Colour code everything - but not the flexible part of the mudflaps - coz the paint may crack - at least that's what I was told.

Looks like an over whelming spray it all, which i was leaning more towards, so thats good :)

Thanks Simmo, if there is a KJ grill there tell them to hold it a side for me, can you let me know which wreckers you are going to. I didn't realise how cheap they were, after I had a girl back into my car at a party, I got a quote through the panel beaters when they fixed my car to get one and the amount he quoted me for it I assumed even if you removed his mark up they would still be expensive. They guy either quoted me for the wrong part or there was HUGE mark ups on his buying to selling price. A i mean HUGE mark up...

That is what I sort of figured, that it i rubbed a speed hump like you do with a lowered magna the paint would crack. I might just removed them. Is it illegal to have no mud flaps? (Not that I'm overly worried *coughs*tint*coughs*)

EZ, I'm not going to do collingwood colours, sorry make, I don't care if i get one of your new projects for free, it just ain't happening.

When you say the strip,do u mean the thin one through the doors? I think i have heard similar stories before so i might look into that, thanks for the heads up...
