Anyone ever buy an OEM oil filter for the 3rd gen auto tranny? what's the #?

Or are they unique size only available from Mitsubishi spares.


Just got a 99TH and noticed its auto has the filter,
been to Autobarn and Supercheap and can't find it.

(btw stupid Supercheap in Geelong only sells Valvoline brand filters at ripoff prices too)

Repco have them for about $23. Mitsubishi $45 ish from memory...

Anybody know the Ryco Z-number or equivalent industry standard model designation?

Was at a few places today checking thru their manuals etc for Mitsu tranny filter,
none of those manuals listed anything for this application. Annoying :doubt:
