Has anyone ehad any problems with fitting 18x8 to a TJ sports. It's a wagon and has the ground effects kit. Also how low to go without problems. Thing is tyre shop is telling me they will rub and that you can't fit 18x8 to a wagon. Car will be lowered after wheels are fitted so it's at standard height now. I know plenty of you have 18s, just weren't sure if you've had problems or not. Any help\advice would be appreciated. tHANKS.

depends how low u go ...

i have 18" 235's and my guards sit just ontop of the rims and have no scrubbing issues.

if u have lowered it anymore than super lows ull need to get ur guards rolled .... but speaking from everience ( i have the same kit as u) once u roll ur guards the falres may be a little loose as they will be missing 2 sections it is meant to bolt onto and the guards are roleld ... though is not really an issue just stick it back on better

well before allpaws finds this thread ill let you know that thats not legal haha, now thats outta the way my mates got 18x8's on his car with the sports wagon kit, its not lowered yet but they fit fine, you might wanna roll your gaurds just to be safe but i doubt they will scrub

rallartgal has bling bling 19's with 245/35R19 on the PMPWGN and no rubbing or hint of rubbing

Have 18's on mine. They didnt scrub with super lows but they are now cause i have gone lower just rubs on the front when you are at full lock. You should be right.

are u sure ?:S ....mine is on bump stops at the front and there is no scrubbing even with the flares on.. and i have 18's 235's

muzza oz runs 20x8.5 inch rims and he has superlows on the front that have been compressed and he has a tiny rub on the inner guards on the front from lock to lock
