Thinking its time for a new, nicer exhaust on the Verada (3.5), from what ive gathered from my searching, Pacemaker extractors and some kind of Redback exhaust is a nice choice if im looking for a quiet ride, but grunty if i flatten it.

Anyways, what do I ask for when I go to the muffler joint to get it done? Just say "I want pacemaker extractors and a redback exhaust"? or do I need to be more specific and give a model, and do i need to specify straight through or anything else? Im a bit of a newbie to exhausts, ive learned alot about small mods which ive done to my car (panel filter, cai etc) from this site and thought i'd ask before i went out and paid good money for something...

Also, any recommendations in Maitland/Newcastle area????

Would be cheaper to ring around and source the parts individually and then taking them all to a zorst place and ask them to fit it. Shouldn't cost more than $100 to fit as most of it is bolt on.

Redbacks will give an almost stock note below 2K RPM. By 4K, people know it isn't a standard Magna!

I would just fit the redback Cat-back and see how it goes. If it is a bit quiet for you - sometimes it is for me - then look at adding the Pacies later.

I am running K&N Panel filter, EzyBoy ported throttle body, and the redback cat-back system. I am umming and aahhing over the pacies.

Contact EZ Boy he has an interest in A1 Mufflers which is near Maitland. He should look after you, also he knows his stuff.
