Not trying to rain on your parade, but are you aware that "thermo wrapping" of extractors will void any warranty on them???

I did research into thermo wrapping my extractors about a year ago, as the manufacturers claims sounded pretty good - but then I found out that they actually do their job too well. By all accounts they will cause the metal to retain so much heat they will actually reach their melting point, which will greatly reduce their life.

I know you see alot of turbo cars with with heat wrapped manifolds - but turbo manifolds generally have alot thicker walled pipes by design.

Ceramic coating?:D Although, I'm sure this option is a bit more expensive ($250 for Magnas?)

Keep going........... lets just say HPC coated RPW extractors are nearly double the price of non HPC coated ones.

Yes "RPW" extractors are double price in HPC form lol

I was wondering what it would cost to take your own extractors to get coated, say like pacemakers?:D

probably a fair bit still. I'd imagine rpw wouldn't hpc the extractors themselves, but probably get them hpc coated for you(zorst shop), then add $50 for their ummm, selves.

all i can say is, if you want to modify your car, get mates in the trade ! its amazing the money you can save on labour and getting the correct parts.
