Pulled out my blinker tonight to put in the oven and make clear etc, cracked it trying to shimmy it out, ill get another one no problem.

My question is: Are these things meant to be plastic??? I have 2 piece parras, the headlights are glass. Have these been replaced perhaps? (Its a KE Verada, so comes standard with 2 piece parras) If I want to "bake" these to make em clear, will the plastic melt? or am I just being over fussy????

How much should I pay for one also??? from a wreckers or Mitsu?

huh thats a bit unlucky, ive done the mod myself and was curious about the same thing... would the lense melt?
but i put it through and it actually does melt... if u leave it in there for around 30 to 40 minutes or so!
it just becomes soft if u leave it in the oven for 5-7 minutes, but still remains solid, so no need to worry!

Price wise, u are lookin at around $150 for a pair from a dealer, brand new. Im sure u'll get them alot cheaper from a wrecker, definately go to the wrecker 1st

Just looking at the blinker assembly itself, looks like all the plastic is orange (is there clear plastic behind it or something???, got me curious), but ill bake it and find out guess...

What what! u must have a verada then, cause i had the orange outer lense and im pretty sure there's nuthing under that!
u gotta buy the clear indicators found on magna's remove that lense then there's some weird little orange lense surrounding the globe that u gotta take and leave out!

I had the verada indicators aswell, and was like whats the point of removing the lense, then removing the inner and taking it out, then putting the outer lense back on, wont it still look orange! :P

So yeh basically buy a pair of clear indicators from a wrecker when u got the time.
Dunno why verada's have to have a orange outer lense, quite annoying

any model magna, just ask for magna indicators! make sure u ask for 3rd generation (1996 - 2002 or 2003 watever, the ones without the long lights)
Basically the outer lense is clear

Hey buddy,

Any magna ones will do...

I have a Verada aswell, and my indicators had the orange OUTER lens. So i swapped them with a guy who had a magna (I paid a lttle extra too).

Here are a couple of pic's where you can see the difference. You can also buy the indicators brand new from these guys and you'll pay $35 each.

*EDIT: By the way, have a look at my Avator to see the result of my clear indicators!

VERADA.......... MAGNA..............
