having a white vr-x - that black rubber lining around the body kit and wheel arch flares makes it all look a bit plasticy - solution = take it off.
This is probably applicable to all vr-x's except black ones - look below - it made a great difference (I've only done the arches - bodykit will be next week). Looks almost one-peice with the body.
So, it is a mission to take off the arches, so set back couple of hours - recommend jacking up each wheel to get at the clips. I had to make a special steel mechanism to pry the clips off - the little stinks.
Just trim the excess black rubber out (or just take it all out) and replace. (I know it is probably there to stop scratching, so just paint a thin layer of clear latex, or a bit of WD-40 onto the arch, if you think you'll want to ever take them off ;) ).
