hey guys, been a while since i posted in here (an actual thread) well, ive had a few upgrades since my last post, in the form of a pioneer avh-p5650dvd head unit, 2x kicker L7's and a kicker kx1200.1, ive had the head unit about a month now and im absolutly wrapped with it, awsome picture and more features than you could poke a stick at, i got the kickers roughly a week ago, theyre 2003 model, bought em second hand off caa forums, theyre 12', dual 4ohms wired for a 1ohm load in a custom ported box, and the newest of my upgrades came today, my kx1200.1, its a 1200 watt monoblock, the birthsheet says 1423wrms! got if for an absolute steal at jb hifi, installed the amp tonight and gave it aquick tune, and **** my ***..... its the best 1700 bucks ive ever spent. tight, loud, deep hit you in the chest bass, theyre amazing, with a proper tune i should see there full potential, 140db+ is what the owner before me saw outta these subs so hopefully i can match, or even better that, now i just gotta buy some splits for the rear fill, and a dvd stacker, and a roof mound tv, and a stinger 0g wiring kit and a heap of sound deadener, and a d34 yellow top, and i should be set haha, pics will be up tonight, maybe tomorrow..... when i find my damn camera charger more like it,

hehe, so in other words there goes another $1400 on all the other little upgrades you want aswell!

i really hope you get it SPL measured....these kicker's ive heard only rave reviews about.

Some people have all the luck. Nice work on getting the shiz, sounds massive.

finnally got the camera working heres the pics, ill also try and get the video up of all the windows in my house shaking and viabrating haha

p.s- install isnt 100% yeh, still making up some beauty panels and shiat so yeh

thanks for the comments guys, next on the agenda is s/d and upgrade the wiring to 0awg, i nearly fell over when i walked into jb hifi and saw pretty much every stinger accessory you could ever want! so next pay day will be spent on stinger battery terminals, stinger 0awg wiring kit, 2 stinger door kits and a bulk pack for the boot, quick question.... does any one else (3rd gen) find they get more rattles from under the boot? would sound deadening the floor of the boot help this ya reckon?

I have a TL and I dont think i get any rattles from under the boot floor. I get some rattles from the area behind the number plate (but not actually the numberplate), the wires in the back of the lights and some nasty ones from the antenna assembly.

I have a 3rd gen and i get a lot of rattles underneath the car around the boot. For me the fuel tank, exhaust, something inside the rear bar and the light connection thing for the trailer all rattle.

damn internets been down for 2 days, but they sound un-freakin-bileivable, one of the best ive heard, you wouldnt be dissapointed if you spent the money on em, well worth it
